1.
Register a
technical point
of contact to
obtain technical
support for
setting up your
machines and
during test
administration.
This individual
must be a
non-student
employee of your
institution and
should be
familiar with
your IT
environment.
Shortly after
registering,
your technical
contact will
receive
instructions on
how to test
whether or not
your machines
can run our
software and
communicate with
our servers in a
secure manner.
In the event
technical
support is
needed during a
test
administration,
we will work
with the contact
to resolve the
issue as rapidly
as possible.

2.
If your
department is
not already
using the ACAT,
determine the
areas to appear
on your version.
If you are
already using
the ACAT, the
online version
will
automatically
match your paper
version unless
you tell us
otherwise.

3. Select
the student
feedback options
for your
students from
the following.
These are
available to the
students
immediately
after they
complete the
test. A print
button is
available for
students to make
a copy of their
scores. You can
select from the
following
options or
select none at
all.

area on the
test

Overall
standard
score and
percentile

Option to
purchase an
official
score report
from PACAT

You also can
elect to have
your students'
scores delivered
directly to you
by e-mail
approximately 15
minutes after
the groups
completes a test
session. The
reporting
options
available to you
are described on
the form.

form, complete
and sign it, fax
it to
931-552-9167.

5.
Place your order
through our
secure online
site or download
an order form
and send it by
mail or fax. You
must provide a
purchase order,
purchase card
number, or
prepay your
order for it to
be processed.

6.
Once your
machines are
ready, your
authentication
codes will be
sent to you
approximately 1
week before your
first planned
administration.
You will also
receive complete
administration
instructions and
other paperwork.

The
electronic
version of
the ACAT
must be
administered
using the
same
security
precautions
used for a
pencil and
paper
administration.
This
includes
verifying
the identity
of examinees
using a
photo ID,
maintaining
an
appropriately
proctored
environment,
and insuring
students do
not engage
in behaviors
damaging to
the
integrity of
the process. |

Because of
security and
liability
issues, we
do not
provide
technical
support to
individuals
taking the
ACAT Online
on their
personal
computers.
